On my way to work walking to the bus stop, three tiny American Bulldog puppies suddenly started following me. That’s when I realized they had been dumped in a cardboard box on the side of the street. They were covered in fleas and had swollen bellies, likely from worms, and were clearly scared and neglected.

I didn’t know what to do, so I called my coworker Anastasia, who was only 8 minutes away. She immediately came, picked us up, gave the puppies much-needed baths, and opened her home to foster them while we get them the care they need.

We’ll be taking all three puppies to the vet next week for checkups, vaccinations, deworming, and flea treatment. We’re raising $3,000 to help cover vet bills, food, and basic care.

Anything helps — whether it’s donating or sharing. These puppies were abandoned, but with your help, they’ll get the second chance they deserve.
