Help Emelie Fight Cancer

A few weeks ago my dear friend and sister in Christ Emelie Roske received the devastating news that she has advanced and aggressive cervical cancer. The diagnosis came as a complete shock as Emelie and Jonathan are also celebrating the news and gift that Emelie is pregnant with their 5th child. For those of you who have the gift of knowing Emelie, you know she is one of the most loving humans, she is strong in her faith and she is an example to many. While we are devastated this is a part of God’s plan, we know He is still SO good.

During this difficult time we would love for the Roske family to be blessed financially which will relieve some of the financial burden that can come with a cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately due to the complexity of the cancer Emelie will have to receive treatment out of province. Every contribution to this page will go directly toward the many costs such as travel and living expenses while out of province. Your generosity can make a tremendous difference during this most difficult time.

We know and trust that God is the ultimate healer and we would ask that you join us in praying for a miracle for Emelie and her baby. Please pray for peace as Emelie and Jonathan navigate the decisions that have to be made regarding the best course of treatment. Pray for strength and rest. Pray for Harrison, Livia, Harvey and Sofia that their hearts would be protected as they watch their mom face this horrible disease. Last, please pray for wisdom for her team of doctors as they navigate this complicated situation.
