Hello everyone, My name is Theresa Dudley and on Wednesday, Jan 8th my husband and I lost the place that we called home for the last 29 years in Altadena, CA. Our place was where we raised our 3 children and now the place where we raise our two grand daughters. Our house was where all of our family would gather together for the holidays and where the neighborhood kids could stop by to eat and stay the night.

When we ran out on Tuesday night, like many of the stories you hear on the news, we imagined that it would only be for a few hours. Needless to say, our family did not take anything with us. My family have lost everything. The funds will be used to help us navigate the permanent temporary housing. We will need to start over from scratch. At this time I am the sole provider as my husband is disabled. We will need to transition into permanent temporary housing for the next few years. Our plan is to turn the ashes into a home one day again but this will be a long transition.
