If you've ever had the privilege of working with Theresa Goodman of VIPet Services, you already know: she’s a force of nature when it comes to helping animals—and helping us become better pet parents.

Right now, Theresa is hospitalized after a serious fall that resulted in a broken arm and a blood clot. She’s facing a painful and difficult recovery, and unfortunately, the medical bills are already piling up. As someone who has spent most of her life giving her time, energy, and heart to others—it’s our turn to give back.

For over 10 years, Theresa has been the person we’ve all turned to for guidance, support, and hands-on help with our dogs. Whether it was preparing rescue pups for their forever homes or coaching new adopters on how to care for their furry family members, Theresa has always shown up with expertise, compassion, and her trademark no-nonsense style that just works.

I first met Theresa through Gina Duncan at Paw Pals Pet Sitting when I needed help with my newly adopted deaf girl—then again a year later with my deaf boy. Her support was life-changing, not just for me, but for my dogs. She has a deep passion for helping animals who’ve been discarded like yesterday’s garbage—and for teaching people how to give those dogs the life they deserve.

Now, while she remains in the hospital and begins the process of healing, she needs a little help from the community she’s always served so selflessly.
