Hello! I'm Theon's mom asking for help in paying for his TPLO surgery. This is a surgery needed for Theon's cruciate ligament. Without it his knee is unable to work correctly and he's been on three legs for two weeks now. Hoping we'll be able to move forward with surgery before July!

Theon is a 7-year-old rescue who has come a long way in the last 4 1/2 years we've been together. I offered a home to a terrified pup who seemed to fear the entire world: people, places, noises, and so on. He and I embarked on a journey of growing love and trust between us that continues to surprise me. Just a year ago, he started displaying the enthusiasm of a puppy, which has opened a world of experiences for both of us.

In the beginning, he was terrified of even approaching a car across a parking lot, and now he eagerly climbs in, ready for our next adventure. His interest in the world seems to grow every day as he is constantly pushing through his own self-induced boundaries. He used to fear the vet office, and now he charges in just looking for friends to meet.

Reactive dogs can be challenging, but Theon has been doubly so. It's been years of both victories and setbacks, but through it all, we've learned how to navigate the world around us together.

Theon is the youngest dog I've ever adopted, and as a result, our bond is unbreakable. There isn't much I wouldn't do for him, which is why I'm appealing to the kindness of strangers for help. I'm working lots of extra hours and selling off possessions to get him the help he needs as soon as possible.

Any consideration and donation would be greatly appreciated. He is managing on three legs for the time being, but I know his life will be greatly improved by having this surgery. It will be a long recovery, but we'll face it together and come out the other side exploring and experiencing more than ever before.
