Last April, my life changed in an instant when I was in a car accident that left me with a fractured spine. Since then, healing has been slow and difficult. I’m still not able to work at full capacity, and pushing myself too hard only makes things worse. On top of my injury, I’m living with three autoimmune disorders—hypothyroidism, GERD, and esophagitis—which make daily life even more challenging.
I’ve been doing everything I can to get by, including running my mobile auto detailing business, but it hasn’t been enough to catch up after nearly three months out of work. I’m also helping my mom, who is battling stage 3 cancer, by paying her phone bill and helping with other expenses. My injury claim was denied, so I haven’t received any help for living costs. Now, I’m almost two months behind on rent and facing the real possibility of eviction.
I’m reaching out because I need help to cover rent, bills, food, and gas—just enough to get me through until I’m fully healed and able to work again. It would mean the world to me to be strong enough to help my mom, and I promise to pay it forward and support others in the future. Any support you can give would make a huge difference in my life right now.
