Fundraiser for Theo's Dental Surgery

Theo's surgery went well, he is doing great, thanks to Dr. Jordan Ford and his staff at Prism Veterinary Dentistry for doing a fantastic job. They removed 7 teeth, but most important, he made it thru and he is here with me!! <3

The surgery was long and required a lot of work so it ended up at $4,855.77 (plus the first $707 for the blood work and consultation).

If you can help with $5 or whatever you can it will be very helpful. As I mentioned Theo has an insurance but they don't cover teeth, so hopefully I can get something back from the blood work.

Hello everyone!

I'm Kaina and this GoFundMe is for my precious boy Theo.

I have never hosted a personal GoFundMe before, but given the cost of the Vet's bill I decided to, in case people wants to help and chip in.

I am a responsible pet owner and he has an insurance, but there are not insurances that covers dentistry, so hopefully they will cover the blood work, but nothing else.

So my beautiful and lovely cat needs to have dental surgery and have removed some of his teeth. The last time he got his dental cleaning the Vet told me that his heart beat slowed down while he was under anesthesia, and she recommended that Theo should have a certified anesthesiologist while he goes again under anesthesia.

This previous Veterinarian Hospital doesn't have a certify anesthesiologist, so they recommended Prism in Manhattan, A Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery Practice (https://www.prismvetdentistry.com )

There are only 2 certify vet anesthesiologist in New York and also not many Vet Dentistry in the city. So, yes, this is VERY expensive, but I can't loose my baby!!

Theo means everything to me!!

The Vet told me that he thinks that he has a heart murmur, they did the blood work today and if it doesn't show any irregularity everything will go normally, but if they do find something they will proceed to do an echocardiogram before putting him under anesthesia (and that's more $$$).

Today was the fist consultation and blood work and it was $707

And his surgery will happens on Tuesday and it will be between $3,425 → $4,882

It's very hard for me to cover all this expenses, so if you could help out Theo would be amazing, there is not a small donation!! Everything will be received with love!
