Help Theo Get the Prosthetic Leg He Deserves
Meet Theo. He’s a big, goofy, gentle dog who has never met a stranger. Whether it’s people, dogs, cats, or even squirrels, Theo is quick to wag his tail and make a new friend. His joyful spirit makes it hard to believe the hardship he endured as a baby.
When Theo was very young, he suffered traumatic neglect that ultimately cost him one of his front legs. He has never let that stop him from living life to the fullest—running, playing, and greeting everyone he meets with unshakable kindness. But as Theo has grown, I’ve started to notice the toll it’s taking on his body.
Dogs carry 60–80% of their weight in their front legs, and for a 60-pound boy like Theo, that’s a heavy burden. To keep up, he’s begun shifting his one front leg toward the center of his body, forcing it to do the work of two. While he doesn’t complain, this overcompensation puts him at high risk for arthritis, pain, and lasting damage as he ages.
That’s why I’m asking for your help. A personalized prosthetic leg would give Theo the support he needs to live the long, happy, pain-free life he deserves. Unfortunately, the cost of a custom prosthetic is about $2,000, and that’s where you come in.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward giving Theo this second chance—not just at mobility, but at comfort, health, and freedom.
Theo has given nothing but love to the world, and now I want to give him the best possible life in return. If you can contribute, no matter the amount, you’ll be part of making sure his goofy grin never has to fade because of pain.
Thank you for helping Theo take his next step—literally—toward a brighter future.
With gratitude,
Andee
Theo's mama who loves him so SO much!
