Tragically,  on Saturday November 12  Samantha Ruiz was notified that her Dad Gustavo had a stroke. He also suffered 2 cardiac arrests. 1 in the ambulance on the way to the hospital and another when they arrived. Unfortunately the stroke and cardiac arrests left him with a bleed in the brain and brain damage. Sadly he showed no signs of reflexes when doctors tested him. On the 14th the doctor had one last test for Gustavo to show signs of life, unfortunately he was not successful in his apnea test and was classified as brain dead therefore declared dead.

He was a dedicated, single Father raising Yvonne 16 and Sebastian  14 . He moved his family to Mississippi when he was offered a a great job opportunity to provide his children with a better life. He made friends fast and wherever he went. He always helped out whenever he could and always put his family first.

We are asking for your support and any donations that will help the Ruiz Family relocate back to California and help the family pay for services. Gustavo's oldest daughter Samantha Ruiz will now be raising her two siblings in California and she needs your help during this time of greivance.  Samantha Ruiz is a strong, hard working, nurting, caring young girl who is constantly putting others first.
