If you’ve been to a Seattle Mariners home game this season, you might have heard the infectious rhythm of THEGUYBLASH before you even stepped through the Home Plate Gate.

Bryan Lash — known to fans, stadium staff, and street performers as THEGUYBLASH — has become a local favorite outside T-Mobile Park. His drumming brings joy, energy, and unity to an area that’s often tense or noisy with megaphones and competing sounds. Everyone knows Bryan — from Mariners employees and fans to even the street preachers who’ve come to appreciate his presence.

Recently, King 5 News began following Bryan’s story during the Mariners playoffs, inspired by the joy and positivity he brings to thousands each game day. When asked how he keeps his spirit up, Bryan smiled and said, “It’s all God. He keeps me steady.”

Sadly, just an hour after that interview, while Bryan was grabbing lunch, his speakers were stolen — the same speakers he uses to play music that he drums along to while busking. Without them, he can’t perform or do what he loves.

Bryan isn’t just a street performer — he’s part of the Mariners’ game day culture. He brings good energy, smiles, and music to fans walking into the ballpark. His beats turn the chaos outside Home Plate Gate into celebration and community.
