What inspired us to start Thee Cake Carpenter wasn’t just an idea — it was God placing something in our hands and in our hearts that we couldn’t ignore. Through prayer, we received a gift, and every time we tried to step away and do something different, we felt Him pulling us right back to this purpose. That purpose has always been creating — desserts, treats, and experiences that bring joy and make moments special. What started as a simple Easy-Bake Oven passion as a child has grown into something real, something meaningful, and something we now get to share with our community every single day.

We’ve been deeply supported and inspired by family — my husband, our daughters, and my mom — people who have stood beside us, believed in us, and helped push this vision forward even when things weren’t easy. We’ve been incredibly blessed to secure our location in downtown Winchester, and we are truly grateful. But the reality is, this past winter tested us in ways we didn’t expect. There were days we opened our doors and saw little to no business at all. Still, we showed up. We stayed consistent. We refused to quit. Now, as the weather breaks, we’re finally seeing growth again. More people are discovering us. Our name is spreading. Our sweet and savory creations are reaching new faces every day — and it’s everything we prayed for.
