Thea Hunter is a 20-year-old talented and driven singer and actor. Up until January, she was in college getting her bachelor's degree in musical theatre, but over winter break, she was sidelined by a stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis and has been unable to return. Hodgkin's lymphoma is a type of blood cancer that although aggressive, is highly treatable. Thea is currently undergoing 6 months of intense chemotherapy and is expected to make a full recovery. However, this takes time and is mentally, physically and financially draining. Even after the cancer is gone, she will need to recover from undergoing chemo and rebuild her body and her life. Keeping her in top wellness throughout this process is of paramount importance.

Your donation will help to cover medical expenses, as well as complimentary medicine including naturopathy, acupuncture, and nutrition guidance to promote thriving health while Thea undergoes and recovers from chemotherapy. In addition, when Thea emerges from this rigorous 6 months, your gift will help her get back on track to achieving her life goals and delivering her gifts to the world. She is ready to move out on her own and experience the young adulthood that cancer has taken away. She is excited to return to performing and hopes to finish college with a BFA in musical theatre.
