Help Thea & Megan in Their Time of Need

It's been one week since we were told that Thea was in active heart failure and was admitted into Children's Hospital.

Thea has Trisomy 21, ASD, VSD, Pulmonary Hypertension, enlarged liver, enlarged heart and a hernia.

To date she has had five Echos, three EKGs, three chest xrays, an ultrasound of her brain and abdomen, NG tube was inserted, and countless lab draws.

She was originally scheduled for heart surgery on Monday, but the chief surgeon wants to do it himself so now it's set for Wednesday.

Megan has taken a medical leave of absence from work to stay at the hospital with Thea this past week and will continue to stay with her daughter until discharge. Megan will also have to care for Thea until she is cleared to return to daycare so any help would be a blessing to get this young family through these extremely difficult times.
