Help the Zingarelli's after house fire
Donation protected
On the evening of Saturday September 21st, Kate and Mark Zingarelli were watching TV at home when they smelled smoke. They evacuated and several local fire departments responded. Thankfully Kate and Mark were unharmed and the firefighters were able to put the fire out after several hours. Unfortunately, due to the extensive water and other damage, Kate and Mark are now displaced from their home. They are working with their insurance company to repair the damage to their home, but as any of us who have been in similar situations know, insurance doesn't always cover all the expenses that come up, and frequently funding doesn't arrive quickly enough. All of this comes on the heels of a difficult year for the Zingarelli family, as Mark has been very ill over the last year which means much of their savings has been going to pay for his medical care. Thankfully, Mark continues to improve and get stronger.
The Zingarellis have lived in their home for 28 years and raised their three girls there. Mark and his daughters are all Norwin graduates, with Mark having served on the Board of the Norwin Public Library and Kate having been a Norwin School Board Director. Mark and Kate have loved and contributed to this community for nearly three decades with their family. I am asking our community to pitch in and ease the financial burden on Kate and Mark during this difficult time. Anything you can contribute is appreciated.
