Help the Young Family Through David's Cancer Battle

Hello friends,

My name is Amber Taney and our family is friends with this fantastic family, The Young's. David and Kelsee and their three awesome kids; Davi, Mason and Melody.

As most of you know, this community of ours banded together to help when their son, Mason was rushed into the hospital and ultimately received a new liver. Mason was touch and go for a few days but pulled through. His recovery is ongoing and everyday he is getting stronger.

Now, a new trial is in their path. David Young was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma. The cancer has possibly hit stage 4. David started chemo a few days ago in Medford, OR. Kelsee will be traveling back and forth so David can receive his treatments.

For over 27 years David has worked with adults who needed and deserved compassion. He gives his energy to taking care of the vulnerable people in our community. In doing so he has been the provider for his family. And now has had to quit his job, since the cancer is draining his energy rapidly.

Medical expenses are taking a toll on their finances while they try to save David's life. Kelsee is an amazing baker and house cleaner, and caretaking David and their three kids is beyond a full time responsibility.
