My name is Dan Hansen, and I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of the Yost family to honor the memory of Austin Yost. Funds raised will directly support the family with funeral services and associated expenses during this difficult time.

Austin dedicated eight years of honorable service to the 1-163rd Combined Arms Battalion in Montana National Guard, concluding his service in July 2024.

He was a devoted husband to Neva, a loving father to Amethyst, and a cherished son to Tina Hayes and Adam Yost. Austin's selflessness extended to his family, friends, and his country.

Over the past eight years, I was fortunate to witness Austin's character firsthand. I watched his family blossom, and I'll forever cherish the memories of his kind ear, quick wit, and open heart. His spirit will continue to illuminate our lives.
