During the night on Sunday, 26th October, the Yeung family—Gabriel, Natalie, and their three children—experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A fire started at a neighbouring property in the Belgravia neighbourhood of Edmonton and rapidly spread to their home. The house was completely destroyed. In just a few short hours, everything the family owned was gone or irreparably damaged.

​Thankfully, the entire family is safe, along with their dog, but they have lost all of their belongings. Clothes, furniture, school supplies, important documents, and precious memories that can never be replaced are all gone.

​The Yeungs are a wonderful part of the Edmonton community, known for their kindness and generosity. They are facing the immediate challenges of finding housing, replacing daily essentials for five people and their dog, and beginning the long, difficult road to rebuild their lives from scratch.
