Help with Wally Ageev’s funeral expenses

Friends, every once in a while we are given an opportunity to be a point of light for someone who is facing darkness. Today, my friend Wally Ageev messaged me that his cancer had returned. He said that it had spread to his lungs and that he has two weeks to live. When I asked him if there was anything I could do, he asked me to set up this GoFundMe page to raise funds for his funeral. It’s very hard to write this as someone who is fighting cancer myself. There but for the grace of God and MD Anderson go I.

I’ve known Wally for about 10 years now. I met him while he was selling some of his woodworking crafts in front of his house. He is a very talented carpenter and did several projects for me. I was always amazed with his work. I joked with him that since Jesus was a carpenter, He is going to get into heaven as a professional courtesy.

He served our country in Vietnam even though this isn’t his native land.
