Help the Yawanawa fight the Amazon forest fires

Fires are raging in the Amazon rainforest. Tribal Link Foundation is in contact with Tashka Yawanawa, Chief of the Yawanawa People of Acre, Brazil, whose community is directly impacted by the fires; they are about a mile away, and the community could not see the sky for a week because of the smoke.

Tashka was featured on CBS calling for support for the Amazon. You can watch his moving interview here:

Amazon chief says they're facing "genocide"

He has asked us to help him with funding to mobilize about and monitor the fires. So, we started an emergency fundraising campaign in August.  We’re closing the gap, but not quite there yet; they still need the items in the budget below.

Chief Tashka and his people urgently need our support.  If you feel so moved, please help make this happen.
