Help the Woollen Family Battle Toxic Mold

Hi my name is Alexa. My husband Taylor and I have three young children between the ages of 7 and 3. My family found out this week that we have both black mold (Stachybotrys) and aspergillus hiding in our home. Thankfully testing has shown it’s only in certain areas but the next steps will be having a company gut those parts and losing a lot of our belongings. Our son has some chronic respiratory issues, and I am on immunosuppressants for autoimmune disease. As of right now we are unsure if we will have to get out or if sealing the areas off airtight will be sufficient. Unfortunately my husband is active duty Marine Corps (in the process of being separated due to injuries) and we have no family nearby. Between still paying our mortgage and all of our normal bills and spending an estimated 30k on remediation since it is not covered by our homeowners insurance, we’re struggling to figure out how to make everything work. If anyone was kind enough to donate, the money would straight to the cost of remediation, unless we do have to get out in which case finding accommodations that would allow for the kids lives to not be completely uprooted would be the first priority. It took everything in me to put my pride aside and make a go fund me but I don’t know what else to do at this point. Any help at all would be so appreciated and I’m sorry to have to ask.
