Help the Wolfe family with medical equipment needs

If you attend Immanuel Church, chances are you know the Wolfe family. They have been involved in almost every ministry that our church has. I met Marcus, Jessica and Hope when I joined their small group a few years ago. Since then, it has been such a joy to be able to get to know this family and walk with them through great times and also through some struggles.
If you have seen my other posts, you know that Marcus has had a rough couple of months. Abdominal pain brought him to the hospital and then led to multiple surgeries, each with their own complications. His previous health conditions put his body in a weakened state that has made these surgeries extremely difficult on his body. Through the grace of God, Marcus has been improving over the past few weeks. He was able to move to a rehab facility where he has been gaining strength and is looking forward to the day he can return home.
Coming home has been the goal since he first entered the hospital, however coming home also comes with it’s own set of issues. Marcus had already struggled with things like stairs, and walking long distances for years. With his new health concerns, this has made these issues more serious. For Marcus to be able to live comfortably in his house and to maintain mobility, many changes are needed to his home. There is a large set of stairs to get into their townhome. This is the first obstacle to overcome. A stair lift is needed so that he can safely climb these stairs. They will need to get an adjustable bed so that he can sleep with less pain. Modifications may be needed to the bathroom so that he can safely take showers. An electric scooter needs to be obtained for when he must walk longer distances. Modifications will also need to be made so that they can transport the scooter easily.
As you can imagine, these things do not come cheap and insurance is not much help. Marcus is currently not able to work, and Jessica has been having health concerns of her own. No matter what your circumstances are, you can help the Wolfe family. If you pray, we are asking for you to surround this family in your prayers. Pray for continued healing and that God would provide the things Marcus needs to be able to live comfortably in his house. If you cook, see our meal train sign up. If you can write, send a card to encourage the family. If you feel led to help monetarily, please give to our GoFundMe so that they can purchase the items needed.
There are many places in the Bible where God tells us that we are to care for the sick and needy. Please join with me to surround this family with LOVE.
