Hello, my name is Tanya Meier. My husband Ryan, children Tripp and Charley, are creating this fundraiser for the Winn family: David and Sarah, children Molly, Jackson, and Gus. The Winn family is from the West Point community. Their son Jackson is best friends with my son Tripp. Sarah is like a second mom to Tripp.

The last four months for the Winn family have been very challenging and at times scary for them.

Last Wednesday, January 29th, Sarah was life-flighted to Omaha where she is currently in serious condition in the ICU. She’s currently diagnosed with pneumonia ,strep and breathing with a ventilator . Sarah’s kidneys are also not working properly.

Last November, David went in for an MRI scan. Doctors found a retroperitoneal liposarcoma mass. The mass was successfully removed and the biopsy came back benign. David is still recovering from this major surgery. He still needs to have another surgery, but that has been put on hold until Sarah is fully recovered.

Us Meiers are asking for the West Point community and people outside of the community to please help this family out. Donations will be used to help pay for gas, food, hotel, and medical bills.
