Help Bring Horror Film, “THE FACE” to Life

Donation protected
After moving to LA, my brother Gavin and I sat down and talked about our future for not only ourselves, but for 2100films. 2100films is our production company, specializing in horror movies.

We have continued to grow over the years, evidently, and have created some of what we think are going to be the coolest horror concepts in years. We've had an amazingly supportive family for our journey - and now it's time to finally turn it up a notch.

Recently, we’ve developed our film festival, Night Frights LA. Monthly horror events are our bread and butter, and we love to build the community. Our flagship film festival is every September, and our main goal is to prove that we can put on an event, turns some heads, and deliver valuable trust.

We are creating our first ever feature film called, "The Face." It is full length feature film adaptation to our short film, "Smile Guide. Originally called Mr. Smile, we’ve since changed the name to embody what we believe summarizes the film better.

Think of SAW, IT, It Follows, Donny Darko. With this budget, we will be able to accomplish our biggest ambition yet - a feature length horror film, and not only that, you can help get people jobs in the film industry.

With the Story by The Winchester Brothers, and the re-written work by Jacob Johnston, this script is a piece of pure psychological terror. It really creeps into Walter’s world and delivers true horror that can happen in everyday life. There’s nothing supernatural about it.

Let us show you in depth, what some of this budget consists of:
CREW: $30,000. For a feature film, you can't cut it short on your crew. After all, these are the people that make it all come together. We will need a Director of Photography, Makeup Artist, Gaffer, and Boom Operator at the least.
CAST: $35,000. Again, the cast is a MAJOR part of a feature film. They can bring the characters to life, convey emotion, and they CAN make or break a film.

Actors need to be paid what they deserve so that they are willing to deliver a stellar performance – (SAG Rate)
CATERING: $10,000. People need to eat! Without food, there is no energy, and without energy, forget the film. Lots of water, etc. They'll need snacks and sandwiches to keep that creativity burning.
EQUIPMENT RENTALS: $10,000. Dolly track, steady cam, monitors, lights.... you get the gist. For everything to run smoothly, we're going to need a smooth process. Our crew will come with their own kits, which is already factored into their daily rates.
COSTUMES/MAKEUP/PROPS: $20,000. We can source a lot of things on our own. But there are many things we can't. That's where this will come into play. Mr. Smile's masks, suits, and school clothes are just a few of those things.

LOCATION: $20,000. This is one of the most important factors of production. Our main locations for The Face include:

  • Walter's House
  • Multiple High School Rooms and Courtyard
  • Turf Field
  • Blast from the Past Comic Store
  • Dark "Killing" Room
  • Nearby Roads and Yards
  • Quarry
  • Diner

We will need to consult with Film Tucson as we’ll be shooting in Arizona.

ANY EXTRA: $100,000 + Any Extra We Can Obtain: PROMO/INSURANCE/LEGAL/MARKETING

If you want something bad enough, you can make it happen. Even over an fifteen day period. Thank you.
