Help the Wilson Family Rebuild After Devastating Windstorm
Crystal and Daniel Wilson have already had to start over once. In 2018, they lost their home in the Camp Fire in California. Everything they had was gone. They packed up what they could, loaded up their daughters and moved to Athol, Idaho to rebuild their lives.
Daniel is an Idaho State Trooper. He spends his days serving and protecting our communities. For the last two and a half years, when he wasn’t working, he has been building a home for his family himself. Every permit, every plan, every board.
While Crystal and the girls have been living in a fifth wheel on the property, Daniel has spent nights, weekends, and every spare moment working toward one goal: giving his family a permanent home again.
Last night, a windstorm destroyed the structure.
Years of work were gone in a matter of minutes. The framing Daniel built collapsed. Right now, they’re still trying to assess the full extent of the damage and what it will take just to clear the debris and figure out the next steps.
After everything they went through losing their first home, it’s heartbreaking to see this happen again.
Daniel and Crystal are not the kind of people who ask for help.
If you’re able to contribute, it would mean more than you know. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this page helps just as much.
They’ve worked so hard to build a life here for their girls. Right now they could really use a community behind them.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting this family.
