The Willis Family is one of the kindest, most generous families I have ever known. Yesterday, they found themselves fighting to save their home from massive amounts of runoff water that was not properly directed to the culvert, which seems to have been packed with snow, ice, and debris. Craig, Cherie, and Devon bailed water out of their home for hours yesterday morning and got a good hold of it until evening came around and a new round of rain and runoff came pouring into their home. There was no stopping it. With the help of friends and neighbors, they were able to grab a few important items, but everything else has been affected by the two feet of water that was in the house.

The Willis’ are the first to step up anytime anyone needs anything, whether it be a meal train, loss of a pet, or something more life-changing. You can bet the Willis family will show up, and more times than not, they’ll show up first!

Please help this wonderful family if you can. The county and their insurance company will be doing an investigation, but in the meantime, they could use some love!
