Hi Everyone, my name is Marissa, and I am the granddaughter of my papa, Gale. I am raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and support our family during this difficult time. While the VA does cover a lot of the expenses, some expenses are not covered, flower arrangements, viewings, family transportation, and other additional costs.

With the heaviest of hearts, I share the passing of my beloved papa, who went home to be with the Lord on 8/21/2025. He was a proud Veteran who faithfully served his country, a strong man of character, and above all, a God loving man whose faith guided every step of his life. My grandpa's legacy is one of service, love, and unwavering faith. He taught us the value of hard work, the importance of family, and the power of trusting God in all things. His laughter, wisdom, and devotion to both his family and his Savior will forever remain in our hearts.

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we are also faced with the financial challenges of funeral expenses and supporting our family through this difficult season. I have created this GoFundMe to honor my papas' life and to help ease any financial burden my grandma is facing.
