Please help the Wilcher/Kirton Family recover after fire disaster.

On 10/23/25, our family's home on Dietz Street in Central Islip was destroyed in a fire and all 11 of us were displaced. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but our house and nearly all of belongings were lost. Our 78-year-old medically compromised grandmother and our aunt were injured in the fire, and are now being treated at the nearby hospital. In addition, our disabled father was also in the house, and is being treated for smoke inhalation.

The Red Cross has provided a few nights in a hotel, but we will need help finding stable housing, replacing essentials, and beginning to rebuild.

We are reaching out to our community, friends, and kind strangers for support during this difficult time. Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards temporary housing, clothing, food, medical bills and rebuilding what was lost.
