Help the Whitmarsh’s road to recovery ❤️‍

Hi, I’m Luke Whitmarsh and I'm the brother of Josh Whitmarsh.  We are motocross family and are hard working, small business owners.

This weekend we were all at a motocross race. (His wife, 3 kids and myself). Unfortunately Josh was involved in a very serious accident and had to be air lifted to the hospital. He is currently being treated at a hospital in Roanoke, hours away from his home of Gloucester, VA. 

His injuries are serious and he is on the road to recovery, but it is going to be a long recovery. Right now his wife is staying at the hospital with him and I'm taking care of their kids at a hotel. They are unsure of how long he is going to be in the hospital or how long his recovery process is going to take. So we aren't sure how long we are going to have to stay in this hotel. 

He just finished surgery today where they put titanium plates on his left rib cage since he broke almost every rib on that side and they are still waiting for his collapsed lung to heal.

Due to these injuries, his family business has to remain closed until he is well enough to work again. Being away from home, medical bills, and the cost of hotel stays is putting a lot of financial pressure on my family. If you or anyone is able to donate something, we would all be extremely grateful.
