HELP OUR TEAM GET TO COOPERSTOWN, AND WE’LL HELP OUT OUR COMMUNITY

After 4 years of playing rep baseball, the Whitby Canadians 12U T2 team is getting ready to head to the coolest tournament ever: COOPERSTOWN DREAMS!

This is a ONCE IN A LIFETIME tournament that is ONLY open to 12U teams and we are determined to get there, but we need your support. Please make our DREAM a reality and consider donating! Any amount helps!

“Remember, there’s heroes and there’s legends. Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.” (The Sandlot) Be a legend and donate!

For every $500 raised, all team players have pledged to spend 1 hour serving our local community. Community Service options include: serving at a local soup kitchen, shovelling senior citizen’s driveways, picking up garbage in a local park, visiting senior residences, walking dogs at a dog shelter, etc.

Also, we’re pretty sure that we remember Kevin Costner saying, “If you donate to it, they will serve.” (Field of Dreams) Or something like that.

If we can’t raise enough funds to make it to Cooperstown, we might cry. And if there’s one thing that we’ve learned while playing this amazing game, it’s this: “There’s no CRYING in baseball!” (A League of Their Own)
