For over a decade, the Wheatley Cybercats have been active participants in the FIRST Robotics Competition. The members of this team are the future innovators, individuals who are not afraid to challenge conventions and venture into unexplored territories. Their activities encompass a wide range of skills including building, designing, coding, CAD, volunteering and competing at a national level.
Each year, the Cybercats participate in a global high school robotics competition known as the FIRST Robotics Competition. This competition provides students with the opportunity to construct an industrial-sized robot from scratch within a six-week timeframe. This hands-on experience equips students with essential skills for solving real-world problems, including teamwork, problem-solving, research, communication, and fundraising.
