The Weber Family Needs Our Support

Our dear friends, the Weber family, are facing significant health challenges and could use our community's support. Gwen reached out with an update on her family's situation:

Dave's Ongoing Battle: During a recent checkup, Dave was found to have a tumor in his bladder as well as spots on his liver. While the surgery to remove the bladder tumor was successful, they discovered a new tumor on the stump where his kidney was previously removed. The family is unsure of the next steps, whether radiation or another operation will be needed.

Lori's Long and Difficult Summer: Lori has had a very challenging few months. She fell and injured her back, then developed pneumonia (complicated by her COPD). Just as she was recovering from the pneumonia, she contracted COVID-19. Thankfully, she is now finally starting to feel better.

Gwen's Own Health Struggles: On top of caring for her parents, Gwen has also been dealing with her own medical issues. While she has received some answers, she is still seeking more information and hoping to get back on her feet soon.

Due to these health concerns, Gwen has not been able to work, adding financial strain to an already difficult situation. The Weber family could use our help to ease this burden.

Practical Help: You can also drop off gas cards, grocery items, or prepared meals at Dave and Lori's home.
