On August 21, my parents Rhonda and Randy Weaver were victims of a devastating fire that completely destroyed their garage. The family is physically okay, but they lost both their vehicles and all of Randy’s tools, equipment, and many other belongings that were in storage in the garage. The fire also caused damage to the back of their home.
While insurance will cover a portion of the costs, it won’t cover everything. The process of repairing the damage and replacing their belongings will be a stressful, expensive undertaking. My mom, Rhonda, is 4 months away from retiring and they are not in a position to shoulder that financial burden alone.
Rhonda and Randy spent countless hours creating a beautiful space to entertain guests and loved ones in their Montana home and it breaks my heart that they have now lost all of it.
If you know my mom and Randy, they are the first people to help out someone who needs a favor, a meal, an errand, or a handmade quilt. They’ve done so much in their community to help others and at the same time they hate asking for anything from anyone, especially Randy. So I am asking for them: if you are able to donate financially, I know they would greatly appreciate it. Any amount will help them through this difficult period of transition so they can try to get their home and life back to normal. If you don’t have the means, any prayers and positivity you can send their way is equally appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support!
Thank you!
