Hi, my name is Velda Johnson and our family is putting together a fundraiser for some dear friends of our family. This family has been a blessing to everyone they come in contact with, and we love them dearly. We are creating this fundraiser to allow others to reach out, bless and support this family with the medical bills that have accumulated from different health struggles. They have a powerful testimony of God's provision for healing for their son and the mother, and they are believing God to help them come up with $100,000 of the $200,000 that they owe in medical expenses. Their story and testimony:
Our precious son was 2 years old when he was diagnosed with a rare bone marrow condition. We experienced weeks and months of him being sick with high fevers off and on, which took us on a journey to Dr. visits, having ultrasounds, tests, bone marrow biopsy, and continued
blood tests until we discovered he had a bone marrow condition.

His condition was rare, not found in many children. So rare that no case studies existed. The medical prognosis was less than a 3%
survival rate. His Dr. team discovered that he was born with a missing chromosome which made him more susceptible to this disease. He had zero immune system strength to fight at the beginning of his journey.

But God.

Through the tears. Deepest wrestling. Heartrending prayers going up. Unspeakable pain. Sleepless nights. Ups and downs of discovering a treatment plan. Grieving the losses of normalcy. God showed up again and again. We saw miracle after miracle break open for us.

Meanwhile, at the same time of our son’s diagnosis, we were serving as house parents at a guy’s addiction recovery facility, where I began
to experience neurological issues and severe neck pain symptoms. I was taken to the hospital where I was treated for spinal meningitis.

During the next several years, I continued to have episodes, and it was discovered that I had a virus that was attacking my spinal fluid.
There was extreme fluid pressure built up behind my eyes and brain area, and I was diagnosed with a brain cyst. So, I also had to receive
treatments and immune support on top of our son’s treatment that he was receiving.

His treatment plan was going through extensive bone marrow stem cell treatment alongside an immune support regimen. The Dr. advised a home program and advised that we continue with follow-up appointments for several more years.

We believe God healed our son. He is a healed and healthy young man today. Restored. Whole. Healed. Thank You, Jesus. He is such a
brave warrior and loves all things airplanes, with big dreams of becoming a Dr. or pilot one day. The test results from the last few years
have been remarkable. I have also experienced healing. As you can imagine, it has been an intense journey, but we praise Jesus for his
continued faithfulness to us.

What a journey of faith it has been for our entire family to embark on. Abraham became our hero. It's been a redefining of everything
familiar as we once knew it. In these sacred spaces, God became more real than the air that we breathed. He was in a relentless pursuit of "only Him" out of religion and false securities. Stripping us of every false god. Taking us out of the church system that had previously helped cover our medical expenses to a complete dependency on God's heart of provision for us.

The medical expenses for both of us have accumulated over the past several years, with the ongoing treatments and climbed up to
$200,000.00 which is currently what is due. My husband Jason, has taken many weeks and months off work to support and be present
with our son and me during the treatments we received. As the medical expenses have continued to pile up we wanted to reach out and ask those who feel led, to help us. Everything that is donated will be used to pay off the medical bills.
