Hi, my name is Kellie Favelle and I am trying to raise funds to help my dear cousin Thea Wark and her family, husband Tony and their 2 children Brycen 15 and Nikita 13.

Thea has bravely battled Bowel and Liver Cancer for over 18 months, with relentless rounds of chemo and surgery.

Today she has gone back into hospital for her 3rd Major surgery. After this surgery Thea will spend the next few weeks in isolation at hospital with no visitors allowed due to the latest Covid restrictions. The prospect of having to face this ordeal and heal alone is terrible for the whole family.

I am hoping to raise enough money to give them a breather from the past 18 months of relentless medical expenses as well as everyday bills etc. Hopefully this will take some pressure off Tony and allow them to spend some quality time together as a family when she returns home.

Anyone involved in Illawarra Junior Rugby League, in particular the Northern Suburbs Bulldogs RLFC would understand the huge commitment that Thea and her family have put into the club year in and year out. Tony has also participated in many many years of fundraising for Convoy with the trucking community. and is also a volunteer Firefighter with Scarborough Brigade.

They are normally the family that are helping others, but they need us now.
