Help the Wanneroo Giants Represent Australia One Final Time

Every baseball player dreams of stepping onto a World Series field in the USA.

For 16 boys and 3 coaches from the Wanneroo Giants Baseball Club in Perth, Western Australia—that dream has become reality.

This remarkable group of young men has just achieved something few ever do:

On May 25th, they won gold at the Australian Senior League Baseball Championships in Geelong, Victoria, after also claiming the WA State Championship. Their reward?

A place on the world stage, proudly wearing the Team Australia jersey at the Senior League World Series in Easley, South Carolina, USA, competing against the best from North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and beyond.

This is their third time representing Australia.

Yes, you read that right—third.

This team has been on an incredible five-year journey:

• Little League State Runners-Up & Division 2 Winners

• 3rd at the Little League Australian Championships

• Intermediate League State & National Champions → Represented Australia at the World Series

• Junior League State & National Champions → Represented Australia again at the World Series

• Senior League Runners-Up in 2024

• 2025 Senior League State & National Champions → Heading to the World Series once more

They’ve grown up together—on and off the field.

They’ve built something rare: a brotherhood, forged through early mornings, long trainings, tough losses, and unforgettable victories. This will be their final year in charter baseball, and very likely the last time they ever play together as a team.

Why we need your help:

Families have already self-funded and fundraised over $33,000 to get the team to Nationals in Geelong. While Little League International generously covers most World Series expenses, we still need to raise funds for:

• Meals and daily living costs

• Team bonding activities and special experiences

• Additional expenses outside tournament play

• Approximately $1,000 per person for 16 players and 3 coaches

Our goal is to raise $16,000 to ensure no player misses this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity due to financial strain. These boys come from a range of backgrounds, and your support will help ease the burden on families who have already given so much.
