Help the Waner Family Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
The Waner family had a horrible fire take over their home. Everyone made it out safely and nobody was injured. Mitch, Alan, Kelsey, and Matt will be without their home for a while and we want to give them all the help we can during this crazy and scary time.
They have lived in the house since it was first built. It was literally dirt before the homes were here. The neighbors became a family as we were the first row of homes they built so we had nobody else around to disturb our crazy antics. As families grew and moved away, the Waners have stayed put. Mitch has worked so hard on the house these last few months and he finally ended his big stair project. It is heartbreaking to see his hard work lost so quickly.
Alan, Mitch’s dad who was the person that could have been injured by the fire the most is a bit shaken up, but he is doing well. Most of that work that Mitch had completed on the home was in the basement for his dad who had a back injury and also suffers from Parkinson’s. His car was also damaged, but it’s drivable right now. Kelsey, on the other hand, was probably affected the most, as her room is completely gone. Luckily, she was able to save some of her stuff that she needed for school. Just seeing her reaction to everything that was happening was very heartbreaking especially since we have seen her grow up and she’s a always with a big smile, seeing her like this was very, very painful.
If you are able to help out that would be greatly appreciated. If you can only do a share, that’s just as helpful.
