Dear friends of the Skipps family,

As you know this wonderful family has had much adversity over the last couple of months. Walter had a hip replacement and shortly after the entire family got covid and he had to re-enter the hospital.  He is healing at home but has had many weeks off of work without pay.  Karen is a cancer survivor but recently they found a tumor the size of a softball  wrapped around her aorta.  They were able to remove the tumor and Karen is now at home recuperating after a week long stay at the hospital.  

Although they have been greatly blessed I know they have taken a major financial hit between the 3 hospital stays, 2 major surgeries  and Walter having to be off work for more than 2 months.  This gift will be a great blessing for the family.

They are some of the most selfless people I know - always the first to help and serve others.
