Helping a US Air Force Veteran's Family in a Time of Need.

I would like to help raise/donate funds for the Eric Walls family an American Veteran that died suddenly and now the Walls family needs some financial help to pay for their mortgage and family medical bills. Eric Walls died suddenly and left behind 5 children and a wife.

Eric developed medical issues shortly after retiring from the USAF and insurance companies would not insure him due to his new medical condition. He reassured his family his life insurance was active, but he failed to complete the necessary forms, and he was disqualified for life insurance policy. Upon his death the insurance company notified the Wall's family that his policy was inactive, and they wouldn’t receive any compensation. This was terrible news and stress the family couldn’t foresee. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

This Military family which supported our country for over 24years needs our support to ensure his family, can pay for the basic necessities. Eric Walls was the sole source of income for the family and now they must adjust to a new reality.

Eric Walls served in the USAF for 24years and was the American Legion Commander for Post 274 from July 2018-July 2019 and the Historian from July 2019-July 2021.

Bio:

MSgt. Eric Edward Walls, USAF, Ret., 51, of Lusby, MD and formerly of Allentown, PA, passed away on March 20, 2025 at George Washington University Hospital. Born November 27, 1973 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of Edward Walls and Victoria (Yurickones) Walls.

Eric graduated from William Allen High School in 1991 and served in the U.S. Air Force from March 1994 until November 2017. During his 23 years of service, Eric was stationed in New Mexico, Japan, Italy and Maryland. On August 4, 1995 Eric married his wife Heidi in the town center of Aviano, Italy. During his next assignment at Holloman, New Mexico, Eric and Heidi were blessed with two daughters, Autumn and Rebekah. Their only son Edward was born while stationed in Misawa, Japan. After returning to the United States in 2006, Winter and Mairy were born. Eric was the NCOIC of the Structures Shop and served as a Structural Craftsman for the 11th Civil Engineering Squadron, Operations Flight at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. During his time at Joint Base Andrews, he also served as a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements Manager, NCOIC of SABER and Superintendent of the Engineering Flight.

Eric is survived by his parents, Edward and Victoria Walls; his wife, Heidi Walls; and his children, Autumn Walls, Rebekah Walls, Edward Walls, Winter Walls, and Mairy Walls.
