Help the Walker Family Rebuild After Devastating House Fire
On what should have been an ordinary day, Ray and Jen Walker’s lives were turned upside down when a sudden fire completely destroyed their brand-new home in the community of Colchester, CT. In just moments, everything they had worked so hard for was gone.
Ray and Jen are the loving parents of 7-year-old twins and devoted owners of two sweet dogs. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely — but the family has lost every belonging, every memory, and the place they called home. As they navigate the shock and heartbreak of starting over, they are facing the overwhelming challenge of replacing daily essentials, finding alternate housing, and trying to create a sense of stability for their children.
With the holidays approaching, Ray and Jen are determined to give their twins a happy and hopeful Christmas, despite the unimaginable loss they’re facing. We’re reaching out to our friends, neighbors, and community members to come together and help this wonderful family rebuild.
How You Can Help:
❤️ Monetary donations will provide immediate support for temporary housing, clothing, food, and essentials.
Clothing and basic necessities for both adults and children are also needed as they work to rebuild from nothing.
Holiday support will help ensure the twins can still experience the magic and comfort of Christmas during this difficult time.
No amount is too small — every donation, share, and act of kindness makes a difference. The Walker family has always been the first to step up and help others; now it’s our turn to surround them with love and support as they rebuild their lives from the ground up.
Thank you for opening your hearts to Ray, Jen, their twins, and their pups. Together, we can give them hope, comfort, and a path forward.
Thank you, neighbors & friends.
