Help the Walker Family Overcome Hailstorm Hardship
Donation protected
My name is Sarah, and I’m reaching out to seek support for my dear friend Jonathan and his family, who are facing significant hardship after the devastating hailstorm that ripped through the small rural town of Casterton, VIC on Thursday night. The storm caused a lot of damage to his home, particularly the front "shop" area, leaving much of his belongings ruined.
Sections of the roof caved in, flooding parts of the space and damaging most of Jonathan's music equipment, including a pipe organ, multiple pianos, guitars, computers, and many personal items.
Jonathan is not only a talented music teacher but also a devoted father to seven children, aged between 14 and 39.. 6 of whom still live at home, of which 4 have disabilities of varying degrees, and he also cares for his wife, who is battling dementia. Having recently overcome cancer himself, Jonathan has shown remarkable resilience.
Unfortunately, his family are under financial hardship and were unable to afford contents insurance, and the landlord’s insurance won’t cover the building damage, leaving him in a difficult situation.
I kindly ask for your generosity to help Jonathan rebuild his life and support his family during this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Let’s come together to show Jonathan that he is not alone in this fight.
Thank you for your kindness and support!
