Help Us Finish and Reopen Strong in Oct!

Donation protected
Dear Friends,

It has been nearly a year since the floodwaters swept through and destroyed our beloved Village Potters Clay Center. The road back has been long with many unexpected obstacles, but also filled with hope, resilience, and generosity.

Thanks to you, we have raised enough to secure a lease on our new home outside the floodplain at Westgate. The walls are up, the kilns need to be installed with hoods and vent systems, and our studios are about to take shape. This September, we move in!

But before we can open our doors, there is still important last minute work to be done. We need to complete essential electrical and plumbing installations, and we also need start-up capital for staff and inventory so that when we move in, we are truly ready to welcome our community back. We have been out of business for a whole year so we are vulnerable but also full of faith that with your help and our hard work we will open strong.

These are the final pieces to ensure that The Village Potters Clay Center is not only rebuilt, but ready to thrive in its new home.

Every gift given now directly supports these crucial steps. Your donation helps turn the lights on, turn the water and gas on, provides for staff, and builds display items like pedestals and lighting for our gallery. We need wedging tables for our classrooms with many other items to begin again.

If you believe in our mission, in resilience, in the power of art to heal and connect, and in the beauty of a creative community, please consider supporting us in this final push. Together, we can open the doors this September and begin writing the next chapter of The Village.

Please join us in Oct for 2 milestone events.
