Help the Vierheller Family in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Hi friends,
As many of you know, the Vierheller family is going through the unimaginable right now. If you don’t know Heidi’s story, please take the time to read this and consider giving a donation during this difficult time.
Heidi is a two-time breast cancer survivor, who has made it her mission to help others going through the same battle. She has been an incredible resource and guide, and has helped countless women over the past several years. However, Heidi’s health has taken a drastic turn for the worse. She was admitted to Cleveland Clinic the first week of June for unbearable pain. At first, based on a recent MRI, her medical team thought that her breast cancer medication weakened her spine and caused a fracture. Everyone thought that this was the source of her debilitating pain. Her doctors thought that this was likely not the cancer returning, but worried about the damage to her spinal cord. They insisted on doing a PET scan, just in case. On June 5th, Heidi and Tim were informed that she has metastatic breast cancer in various parts of her body, including her spine. Her spinal fracture was actually from a cancerous tumor that shattered her vertebrae, which was not shown on her recent MRI. They were obviously beyond shocked and completely devastated by this news.
Heidi and Tim are the loving parents to two amazing kids, Landon and Ella. While Ella is too young to understand all of this, Landon is very aware that his strong, amazing mother is fighting cancer once again. This has been incredibly hard on him, their entire family, and their friends. Aside from their shock and grief, this also puts an enormous financial burden on the Vierhellers. Heidi will no longer be able to work at St. Hilary, which was a job she loved. Tim recently started his own chiropractic practice within the last year. He is very dedicated to his patients, but obviously will be need at home more often and will not be able to work as much as he’d like or needs to. They have needed to convert their home to be able to accommodate Heidi as she heals. So, this is why I am asking for contributions to help this incredible family during their time of need.
Heidi is one of the most amazing women I’ve known in my life. She was my first friend when I became a part of the St. Hilary community. We clicked immediately! We became fast friends when our kids were in the same kindergarten class. I will always remember that night, when we traded our stories, and I learned about her incredible journey up to that point. I knew she was a person I wanted in my life FOREVER. Now her journey has taken an unexpected turn, and she needs our love and support. Please, please consider giving to this amazing family. Any donation is appreciated!
