Help the victim of Altona meadows machete attack

Hi, This is Kanika and I am putting up this fund raiser in support of my friend - Saurabh Anand who is the victim of the machete attack that occurred in Altona Meadows shopping centre. He was also slashed and stabbed in the shoulder and back, suffering a fractured spine, broken bones in his arm, and head injuries. His name is Saurabh Anand and he is a 33 year old man working full time in the city. He has been living in Altona meadows since 2022 and has been visiting the same shopping centre for his daily needs. He is currently suffering from life affecting physical injuries and mental trauma from the attack. He’s still struggling to come to terms with what a bad ordeal he had to go through . In this time, I would urge the community to bring in generous support for him as this would help him to support his medical expenses, while covering for the loss of income from work and recover from his physical injuries and mental distress through rehabilitation. Your contribution would help him to recover better without him having to worry about his next dollar as the journey is going to be long to bring it back to normal considering the expenses required for ongoing therapy, counseling , medication and rental expenses are not easy.

Without having access to Medicare benefits, it is going to be very difficult for him to keep his daily needs and medical expenses met.
