On the devastating evening of February 18th, a ravaging fire started on the first floor of the house and quickly rose and spread to the second floor where the Velazquez family resided in. The father realized that escaping downstairs was not an option and quick on his feet, he jumped through the second-floor bathroom window, ran to grab a ladder from the garage and saved his entire family one by one including his wife, three beautiful daughters, and their adorable kitten Luna. A brave hero, he then realized that the owner of the house was left behind on the first floor and with no hesitation, ran back inside through the front door and rescued her by carrying her outside on his shoulder. Unfortunately, their other kitten stayed behind but was miraculously rescued hours later after firefighters were able to put out the fire.

Any kind donations will be deeply appreciated and will foremost go towards covering the medical bill of their other kitten, Loki who is loved dearly and fortunately suffered only minor injuries to his lungs. As of now, the family is distraught and is left without a home, clothes, beds, and other necessities including school supplies and toys for the girls who went through this traumatic experience.
