Help the Vasquez Family Rebuild from Fire
For those who know them, you know. Many of us today found out that our “parents” lost their home to a devastating fire Sunday.
Mike and Shaunessy Vasquez, two longstanding Merced community members that have lovingly contributed to the community, also known as “Coach Mike” and “Mama Shaunz” need our help. They have changed so many lives with their generosity, and they have touched thousands of youth and adults through loving kindness. Now it is time for us to give back to those who have given so much to us.
On March 21st, 2021 at 8:37am the home of these amazing communal parents was lost in an electrical house fire. They are not only second parents to many throughout the community, but also parents to Mike, Jesse and Ralph. We are doing everything we can to help them rebuild, and we are asking for your help to replenish with what has been lost. They have been friends, they have been teachers, they have been parents, but most of all, they have loved us just as their own children.
Please help those who have have helped so many of us. Our priority right now is just getting Mama Shaunz ADA complaint furniture, clothes on their backs, and basic living supplies.
