My name is Brittany Eccleston, I am starting a gofundme for my Father-In-Law, Mr. Hector Vargas Pagan, who has Stage 4 lung and white cell cancer ongoing for 6 years.

Just recently, the cancer has spread and wrapped itself around his spine, causing him to suddenly become paralyzed and unable to walk. His amazing oncology doctor gave us the news we never wanted to hear: the remainder of Hector's expectancy of just a few days, maybe a week.

Mr. Vargas is a dedicated, hands-on single father who raised 7 children: Maria( my Wife), Betsy, Hector Jr., Xavier, and Michael who is no longer with us, Emmanuel, Danaysa Vargas, and lastly his cat named Chicken. Mr. Hector, also known as Pops, is a selfless Father, Son, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend who still to this very day prioritizes others before himself, even in his unfortunate state of being.

Up until his final breath Pop will have in-home care hospice and has the benefit of having personal care from his family in the comfort of his home. The family is asking our community to assist with burial and funeral expenses if possible, anything helps. We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to read and donate to this wonderful family man.
