My name is Stephanie Thomas and I'm creating this gofundme, with Deb's consent, on behalf of her husband, Travis VanHecke. This is to help pay for Trav's funeral expenses, any medical bills that occurred during his stay at Abbott Northwestern hospital, household bills, and anything needed for the family. Deb is a selfless person and would never do this on her own, so I'd like to do this for her and the girls to show our support. As friends, community members, family, softball friends/family, etc. let's show these ladies that we are here to help with whatever they may need during this difficult time. 100% of ANYTHING sent goes directly to her and the girls.

A little background per Deb: Travis has had health issues for a number of years. This last hospitalization landed him in the ICU for 6 weeks. He ended up getting an infection in his blood stream that attacked his organs and they began shutting down. He sadly passed away January 9th 2025. His family is left grieving – his wife Deb, and daughters Lily (18) and Addy (15). Lily is going to college and Addy is a sophomore in High School and active in many sports and other activities. With the girls in high school and college, financial help from us will also allow the girls to maintain their academics and sports.
