On Monday, April 13, 2020 during a heavy windstorm in Maryland, Mother nature tore down a huge oak tree, unfortunately, the tree fell on my sister Kim Utley’s home. Thankfully, my sister and my 3 nephews were not harmed however their house suffered major damage and now is inhabitable. Kim does have homeowner’s insurance which will cover most of the home repairs along with some personal property destruction but not everything. Additionally, my sister and my nephews are now displaced for three to six months, before they can move back into their home. My sister is a proud single mother, that tries to do everything on her own, but I am reaching out because we all need help sometimes!
