Let’s extend our support to the Urbanski Family
Donation protected
I’m writing on behalf of Ryan Urbanski, his wife Jenna and their beautiful 12 year-old daughter Adalyn.
He is a devoted husband and father, Ryan has been a loyal friend for decades. Our friendship is built on a mutual love of family and a common joy we derive from being able to help others and provide where we can. We’ve both been through tough times and know both the power of prayer and the kindness of others to get us through.
Today, Ryan and his family are in need of both as they contend with some life-altering circumstances.
After experiencing severe weight loss and reduced energy levels for months, Ryan was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. Ultimately, this will require a liver transplant. But the process for obtaining one is long and arduous. In the interim, all they can do is treat symptoms. This includes addressing severe ascites (fluid in the belly)– a condition that requires a procedure to drain 1-2 times a week. In the last month alone, Ryan has endured multiple hospital visits and is unable to work due to the volatility of his condition. In addition, the treatments have depleted much of their hard-earned savings- a struggle that is only amplified by now being a single-income household.
In true form, Ryan remains optimistic and selfless. Whenever people ask if there is anything Ryan needs, he responds with a “no’. He instead encourages them to extend a gesture to Jenna and Adalyn. To him, a smile on their faces is the most valuable thing in the world.
Ryan has a deep empathy for those that are struggling and has opened his home to many over the years. He believes in paying blessings forward. And I’m hoping he’ll receive back much of the love and support he’s provided to so many.
This is why I feel compelled to write this and to ask you to consider donating any amount to the Urbanski family. While his heart and spirit will undoubtedly benefit and help the family keep their focus on Ryan’s recovery.
Thank you for your consideration.
