The White Rose Resistence has put together this GoFundMe to support the Underwood family to cover costs accumulated in the loss of their precious baby girl, Amiko.
Kimiko was 24 weeks pregnant with her daughter when she started to unexpectedly miscarry on Mother's Day evening. She went to the hospital and was told that the baby's heart rate was healthy and that her symptoms were from other complications that can arise in pregnancy. On Wednesday morning Kimiko went into labor at home and was rushed to the hospital. That is where she gave birth to baby Amiko and was told by doctors that her baby girl did not have a heartbeat.
Through this unimaginable loss, Kimiko and Adam have not only been faced with the heartbreak of grieving their child but now dealing with the financial hardship of laying their daughter to rest.
The amount we have listed is to help cover the cost of groceries, time off work, and other unexpected expenses that have come up for Kimiko, Adam, and their 5-year-old son, Zuriel.
During this time of grief, we want to come together as a community to support them in any way that we can. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference in helping with expenses and providing baby Amiko's family with the support they need.
All funds will be strictly used for baby Amiko's cremation service, her urn, meals groceries, and living expenses for the rest of the month of May.
Please reach out with any questions. Thank you.
*** New Note: 5/25***
We no longer need donations at this time, as the funds that have been provided have covered neccissary costs. Hospital expenses have been covered, which was unexpected, in addition to finding a more affordable cremation service. Thank you to everyone who gave to support the Underwood family during this time.
Psalm 147:3
"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds."
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."
